Due to recent changes in legislation,
We cannot accept enrolments into the
White Card Online Course, unless you have a residential address in WA
Did you know the NT White Card is accepted throughout Australia?
All Australian States and Territories have adopted the National Standard White Card Induction, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
White Cards now replace the WA and QLD Blue Cards , VIC Red Card and NSW Green Card and White Cards issued prior to Sept. 2009.
Mutual recognition arrangements enhance the capacity of construction workers to move across state/territory boundaries without the requirement to undertake construction induction training in each jurisdiction.
All States and Territories issue the new National Standard White Card and all of these cards are mutually recognised across State and Territory borders – i.e. if you have a card issued in one location it is recognised in all other States and Territories.
Yes. White Cards completed in another state or online white cards are accepted in NT.
NT Worksafe Website states:
“A person holding a current and valid general construction induction card from another jurisdiction will not need to undertake general induction training for construction work in the NT and will not need to obtain a NT white card. NT WorkSafe will deem these cards as equivalent to the NT construction induction scheme and accept them as proof of general induction in NT as per the NT Code.”
You can find more information about the White Card acceptance in NT here
Some workplaces may implement a higher standard than what is legally required, so it is recommended that you check with your employer as to what construction induction is necessary
