Yes the WA White Card is accepted across Australia in all states.
All Australian States and Territories have adopted the National Standard White Card Induction, CPCCOHS1001A – “Work Safely in the Construction Industry”.
White Cards now replace the WA and QLD Blue Cards , VIC Red Card and NSW Green Card and White Cards issued prior to Sept. 2009.
Mutual recognition arrangements enhance the capacity of construction workers to move across state/territory boundaries without the requirement to undertake construction induction training in each jurisdiction.
All States and Territories issue the new National Standard White Card and all of these cards are mutually recognised across State and Territory borders – i.e. if you have a card issued in one location it is recognised in all other States and Territories.
Yes. Online White Cards or White Cards completed in another state are recognised.
This is from the WA Worksafe Website States:
“Across all States and Territories, including here in WA, both types of cards [ie old Blue Cards, and new White Cards] are accepted by the regulatory authority as evidence that induction training has been completed.”
If you complete the course in any state within Australia you will receive a WA White Card
